Where are you located?
Portland, Oregon. I work from a licensed private studio in industrial SE.
What are your rates?
My rate is $150 an hour. Our shop minimum is $100.
Do you require a deposit?
Yep, a non-refundable deposit of $100 dollars will be required before your appointment is confirmed, and will go toward the total cost of your completed tattoo.
Do you offer in-person consultations?
I’ll often suggest a consult for large scale pieces, puzzle-piece spots, or if you’re a little unsure of your tattoo concept. If you’d like to stop by the studio & chat prior to setting up your appointment, just let me know.
Do custom pieces cost the same as flash?
Yep, I don’t charge more or less for a pre-drawn piece vs a custom! Just like a custom piece, placement and size adjustment of pre-drawn pieces will affect the price, which we’ll discuss via email or at your appointment.
Do you repeat pre-drawn “flash”?
Almost all of my current flash is available to be repeated a handful of times. If your heart is set on an older piece OR a custom variation of a flash piece, I'm happy to draw you something similar but slightly altered so it’s unique to you!
Are you down to split a large tattoo piece into a few sessions?
For sure! Its easier on my body and on yours. For some large scale pieces I’ll propose this initially, but if you’re interested in doing so just lemme know in our email correspondence.
Do you send pictures of custom tattoo designs before the appointment?
Nope, but minor modifications day-of or redrawing is always an option.
Color tattoos?
Not really! Maybe a little red…
Cover-ups?
Rarely, but on a case-by-case basis. My style isn’t ideal for every type of cover up. It depends on what’s being covered and your expectations of the final result. To me the most important aspect of embarking on a cover up is making sure we don’t take the tattoo you’re not stoked on and “cover” it with a bigger tattoo you’re not stoked on.
Do you tattoo art that is not your flash?
Absolutely! I make a bunch of custom tattoos! If I can tattoo it well, I’ll tattoo it for you, whether it’s the backpiece you’ve been dreaming of, your moms initial, an inside joke with your BFF, or something in between. However, I’m not interested in replicating another artists work (especially another illustrator/tattoo artists).
Do you make/sell art that isn’t in the form of a tattoo?
Hell yes! Availability will vary. You can check out my multi-media art that’s currently for sale in my shop.
